Automated cycle bot for Aptos (APT/USDT) — never sells at a loss · 2026
Set up Theta to run automatic cycles on Aptos — an ex-Meta L1 built on the Move language, focused on security and scalability — on Binance, Bybit, Coinbase. The bot buys when price drops, sells in profit when it rises, and never realizes a loss: if it falls too far, it holds and reopens on the next cycle.
Why trust it
The key reads and trades, and cannot withdraw. If the permissions cannot be confirmed, the connection does not complete.
On its own the bot requires 0.35% above average cost to sell. Selling in the red happens only if you say so.
Simulate with a virtual balance, no time limit, before risking a single real cent.
On managed bots, the Pilot climbs a public ladder of coins as the exchange capital grows.
How the trailing stop works for APT
The trailing stop doesn't sell at a fixed price — it follows the peak. If you set +3%:
- 1Bot buys at $100.
- 2Price rises to $103 — target hit. The trailing stop activates and starts tracking the peak.
- 3Price rises further, to $110. The trailing stop follows: new ceiling = $110.
- 4Price drops 2% from the peak ($107.80). Bot sells — a bigger profit than $103.
In our corrected backtest, selling at the target beat trailing — that's why it's the default (trailing is an option for strong trends). In a 5-year by-regime study, the Cycle doesn't beat simply holding through a strong bull; its value is discipline: it locks small green gains and never sells at a loss (nor below your configured target).

What changes when you run DCA on Aptos
On a layer 1, DCA lives alongside its own calendar: network upgrades, issuance changes and token unlocks tend to move price on dates known in advance. The bot does not read calendars — it buys on the interval you set. If you follow those events, the interval is where that reading belongs: shorter smooths the ride through busy dates.
Risk we classify as medium-high: here the position can stay stuck for months, not weeks. The bot has no stop-loss by design, so it rides the drop holding. If you need that money within a defined horizon, this is not the coin to put it in.
This pair exists on all three exchanges Theta supports, so you can pick by fee, by country or by where you already have an account — without changing strategy.

DCA or Cycle: which one is for you?
Cycle buys APT on the dip and sells in profit — ideal if you want to realize gains on Aptos without ever selling at a loss. DCA (Accumulate) buys at intervals and holds, never selling — ideal if you just want to stack Aptos for the long run. Both use the same trade-only key, no withdrawals.
